One of the most distinctive features of curry is its unusually bright colour, and Anghiti takes this vivid theme right through to the decor of the restaurant. The intense yellow on the walls is matched by the yellow of the tablecloths, creating an insanely cheerful atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal. The bright Bollywood-esque space is a perfectly appropriate environment to sample notably authentic curries. The menu includes the full range of different types, with many vegetarian, lamb and seafood options - but in keeping with their commitment to authenticity, there is not a sacred cow in sight.

Authentic, different and value for money
We were introduced to this restaurant by friends whom we regularly dine with, with Indian restaurants our favored choice. We've since been back again and weren't dissapointed. There seems to be a miriad of trendy Indian Restaurants that have popped up during the past few years, and we've tried most of them. Most are OK, few are great. Anghiti's food stands out, some of the regular favorites - their rogan josh is one of the most authentic I've had in Perth, their vindaloos are hot but tasty with the subtle underlying vinegar flavour you're mean't to get with a made from scrach vindaloo - but they also offer some different dishes I haven't seen in Perth before, the tandoori squid or crayfish is superb! It's worth a try - the decor is quite bland (but then fancy decors generally means higher prices or less food for your money!). The restaurant is immaculate and you can't fault the service.

Still looking for a good, traditional Indian restaurant. One of the better ones, but truthfully, still not a patch on a true curry. Have tried many restaurants in Perth, have to say that there is still not one real good one among them.

A Well-Kept Secret
This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Perth. It probably doesn't get the patronage it deserves, as it is fairly plain inside and doesn't have the same decor that restaurants such as Punjab or Cinamon Club have. But the food is absolutely delicious. Their best dishes are butter chicken and vindaloo. The prices are reasonable too.

Excellent Indian food and friendly service. The portions are large enough to share and they are more than happy to spice things up if you like it hot! Highly recommend this restaurant.
