The Angel has a back street feel. That doesn't mean it's seedy, it just means that you feel a bit exclusive when you discover it. Aside from being the dark cousin of the Merivale chain, it's very comfortable and has great leather couches for sinking back into while you enjoy one of their design-your-own sandwiches or gourmet pies.
