Great setting, not so great value.
The setting on the verandah is lovely and the staff are friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed - this really is more a cafe than a restaurant although they are charging restaurant prices (mains around $20 - $25). Anacapri is now licenced and charge $5 if you byo (wine only). The service was clueless - no wine list, no dessert menu and the waitress couldn't recite what might have been on them from memory. A rather awful bottle of wine was $26, sending our bill over $80 for what was a pretty ordinary meal. The menu is uninspired, pizza, pasta, schnitzel, steak, garlic bread. There are only four entrees - garlic bread, herb bread, brushetta (wasn't very good) or garlic prawns ($15). In a waterfront location some oysters or scampi would have been appropriate but this was club quality tucker. You can even have your main with chips and salad or chips and veg. We left thinking we could have had two dinners out at our local Thai for the same money and enjoyed the food more.
