Amici stands out in Miller Street, serving truly good woodfired pizza that warrants a drive from neighbouring suburbs. Complemented by a number of pasta dishes - try the linguine Cinque Terre - there are also a handful of seafood dishes, though the pizza is the raison d'etre. The serves are more than generous and the dishes are based on very fresh and largely homemade ingredients. Leave room for a traditional homemade tiramisu for dessert.

Amici is amazing
Best Italian food I've eaten outside of Italy. Freshest ingredients, generous portions all delivered with Italian charm and hospitality. Woodfired pizzas, excellent as are lamb, seafood and pasta dishes. We always go to this little gem and are never disappointed, the multitude of happy diners and regulars attest to this restaurant being fabulous.

The place is noisy. Tables so close together conversations overlap. The pizza was served quickly and I suspect undercooked; it quickly became cold, and lacked flavour - no zing of garlic, no tang of herbs. Waiter was reluctant to re-heat. The accompanying salad was not fresh - yellow edges to the leaves.

Food delicious
Horrible service, waited for almost 1 1/2 hours for our main course, waiters rude, would never recommend this restaurant to anyone because of the rude staff and the long wait.
