Thai food is hardly the new kid on the block, but that just means that the competition is all the more fierce. Enter Somchit Siow, the chef at Amarin, who still considers that food is important enough to warrant love. Evidence of this is to be found in the prawn and roasted coconut with lime, betel and ginger. There are a wealth of real treats on the menu here, all of which show that, at Amarin, texture and taste is the foremost priority.
