A family-friendly suburban spot, Alimento offers classic Italian in relaxed, no-fuss surrounds. The pizzas are a big drawcard for locals, who pop in and out for takeaway all night (try the Tropical - prawns, mango, chilli and coconut. It's summer on a plate.) and though the restaurant itself is basic, the atmosphere is warm. A big hit with families, who say the staff go out of their way to keep children entertained, providing pencils for drawing and colouring-in.
