After a sleek overhaul to the pub, trendy residents now have somewhere sophisticated in which to wet their whistle, with a great beer and wine selection and quality pub-style meals on the menu. Take a seat in the gorgeous landscaped garden bar and wash down a tuna steak with a crisp sauv blanc. The pasta offerings are divine, from the zesty prawn, chilli and cherry tomato spaghetti to the roast pumpkin ravioli with golden raisin, baby spinach and burnt sage butter.

Well done
We've been living in the area for a while now and have tried just about all there is to try and the Alexandria Hotel it is consistently great, excellent value, particularly the specials. It has a good vibe, gorgeous landscaped beer garden and wonderful service.
