There are no shortages of spaces to drink and dine at this enormous contemporary pub, and the meals and daily specials are excellent. During the chilly months there's nothing better than their roast lunch special, priced to please and south of the double-digits. Steak nights and two-for-one dinner specials keep the regulars and families happy, but the a la carte menu often tempts you away from the specials with some great restaurant-quality dishes. Standouts include the chicken roulade (chicken breast filled with spinach, char-grilled capsicum and brie, lightly crumbed and served with a sundried tomato cream sauce); the rack of lamb, with walnut and herb seasoning and served with minted red wine jus; or the lime and chilli Tasmanian salmon, served with sweet potato mash and creme of balsamic dressing.
