If the words 'pide', 'doner', 'felafel' and 'baklava' mean anything to you, then Alasya Turkish Restaurant should make for an enticing dining option indeed. Run by the same family since 1978, Alasya has stood the test of time on Sydney Road, consistently delivering traditional Turkish cuisine to avid followers and curious newcomers alike. The only problem may be deciding what to have - you've got more than 30 dips and entrees to choose from; a range of Turkish breads, pide and borek; and a mouth-watering slew of doner kebabs, charcoal grills, oven-baked meals, seafood and vegetarian goodies. The value-for-money banquets give you a chance to try it all - though there are five banquet styles vying for affection from your tastebuds.
