Pretty Consistent
If you haven t been here for a while, like us, give it a go. We have found this a reliable restaurant for more than 30 years. The dips are really good and the mains brilliant. The decor has been freshened up since our last visit. The service was prompt but admittedly there weren't many there. But then again, it was open after the movies when other restaurants were closing up. We had a good night.

Disgusting
This was possibly the worst meal I have ever eaten! The food awful, the service the slowest in the ACT and the prices extortionate! I recommend you avoid the place like the plague...

In the past, I have enjoyed Alanya. On my recent trip there, I did not enjoy my meal. The chicken was dry and the salad was very ordinary. It was just some lettuce, tomato and onion and a small serve of rice. For what it was, certainly not worth the prices.

A shocker
This did not come close to a good Turkish meal. Some dry meat, an ordinary salad, a bit of rice and a flavourless stew all arrived after some supermarket-quality dips and a bit of bread. The service was incredibly slow, we waited for almost an hour between courses. The servings were tiny and, even if the food had been decent, this place is hugely overpriced.

Has been great for years
Alanya has been doing great food and service for many years. It is a family business and it has a really warm and welcoming feel about it. It is tucked away and a little hard to find but once you're there it is completely unpretentious and the food is fantastic.

The food here is great, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Located upstairs in a Manuka mall, there's no pretence or intimidation here - just fantastic food in generous portions and a good night out.
