As you approach Ahmet's on Oxford a daring feature wall catches your eye. You just have to run your hands along the smooth white pebbles. Behind the wall is an exotic collection of Persian rugs, chiffon drapes and delicious food. The all-weather outdoor terrace is decorated with a beautifully painted mural of Turkish life and relaxation. It sets a fine mood for the belly dancing on Friday and Saturday nights and the riotous Turkish bands, which play on occasion. Inside, the ceiling is draped with chiffon and the floors and walls are covered in exotic Turkish rugs and tiles.
