Here you will find tasty traditional Afghani meals served on white embroidered tablecloths intelligently covered with plastic. You'll soon forget your table manners and spill food all over the place as you tuck in to such dishes as the lamb-mince dumplings topped with a chickpea sauce or the popular chapli kebabs flavoured with chilli and coriander seed.

Tasty!
We followed the owner's advice on meal choice and enjoyed a tasty selection of mains that we probably wouldn't have selected ourselves. Some spicy treats, but not too hot. The rice which came with the chicken curry was a meal in itself - cinnamon spiced with sultanas, slivers of orange peel and almonds - perfectly cooked. The meals came with complimentary salad, Turkish bread and dips, and when we ploughed our way through the first offering, seconds were happily provided. We enjoyed the food... but the TV blaring in the corner spoiled the atmosphere for us.
