Birthday treat
My niece and I took my sister there for her birthday dinner last week and it was such a lovely place. The waiters were friendly, service was fast and the food was delicious. The tent room looks great and we are planning a return visit for my niece's birthday. I would definItely recommend the Afghan Gallery.

Sheltering from the rain in a tent!
Ended up here on a rainy night for a friend's birthday, we hadn't booked anywhere and it was the first place that we came across, and what a lovely surprise! I was so impressed by the tent room upstairs, it had a real authentic feel to it and we sat down at low tables on cushions. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, and even put on some traditional music at our request. The menu had a good selection on it, including some banquet meals for sharing. In the end we all chose individually but there was enough on every plate for us all to get a taste. We didn't go for starters or desserts. And because we were right in the heart of Brunswick St we had loads of after-dinner party options!

A memorable feast!
We took my folks here and they absolutely loved it! The food was superb. We chose our own selection of entrees and mains, the servings sizes just right. Dessert included a range of Middle Eastern treats - small, but enough to satisfy the sweet palate. The service was friendly but just a little too slow. Definitely recommended to try something different and delicious!
