Trained at the renowned Lenotre pastry school in France, Adriano Zumbo combines his fervent love of all things cacao with spellbinding results at his flagship Balmain cafe and patisserie. On offer are decadently delightful classics such as the lemon tart, mini macaroons and a superb selection of chocolate truffles.
There's heartier fare on offer too, such as corn cakes with crème fraiche and coriander as well as toasted sandwiches. The grilled ham and cheese brioche is sure to delight connoisseurs with its nod to Gallic authenticity.
The cafe space is pleasing to the eye with its thoughtfully modern interior featuring a red chandelier and zebra-striped cushions, fitting into Balmain's boho aesthetic with a panache only seen in Paris.
