Trained at the renowned Lenotre pastry school in France, Adriano Zumbo combines his fervent love of all things cacao with spellbinding results at his flagship Balmain cafe and patisserie. But for too long the Zumbo phenomenon has been isolated within the Balmain peninsula. Now it's time for the rest of Sydney to get a taste, with a cafe in Rozelle and patisseries opening in Manly and the new Star City redevelopment.
On offer at this branch of the sucre-fuelled Zumbo tree are decadently delightful classics such as the lemon tart, mini macarons and a superb selection of chocolate truffles.
