Wonderful Meal
The atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. The staff were awesome and so was the service - even though we arrived 30 minutes after our booking we were welcomed with a smile. We decided to get the banquet which is basically a three-course meal ($35), as there were nine of us. Within minutes of ordering the table began to fill up with fresh bread, dips (skordalia, taramosalata, tzatziki and eggplant) and fried saganaki. Everything was absolutely beautiful, nice, fresh and well made. Then came the main course. This entailed a large grilled seafood platter (mussels, calamari, prawns, etc) and a grilled meat platter (meat souvlaki, chicken souvlaki, gyros, kabana, etc). The meat was so tender and juicy and cooked to absolute perfection. The seafood was also very good and fresh. At this point we were all loosening the pants belts, thinking how could there possibly be more food. But low and behold the waitress came past and asked us for coffee/tea/hot chocolate (which was also in the banquet price) and then out came to two large dessert platters full of lovely Greek desserts, ranging from kataifi all the way to chocolate baklava - one i have never had before but I will definitely be having again. All up we had a wonderful evening, the staff were incredible and the service and food were very very good quality. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a very nice night out.
