The views are fabulous - and there it ended. There was an abundance of staff, none of whom seemed interested in taking an order when we sat down. The drinks took ages to come, the meal was very average - lukewarm and dry Nasi Goreng is not a good meal! This place has all the right ideas - but is just not happening. And they charge 3% for using Amex.

All in all a disappointing dinner.
There were at least 10 staff working but my partner struggled after being seated to get the attention of waiter to order drinks. Cocktails were overpriced. Food was less than average and I might even say a little bland. The garlic bread we shared for entree was the highlight of the dinner. Lyrebird can't rely on their location and views to impress.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my friends to eat at, certainly not for the service or the quality/price of the food, all of which were very average. Our waiter was not very attentive even though the restaurant was quite empty. After finishing our first round of drinks we had to wait 5-10 mins before we could get anyone's attention.
The steak I ordered for the main course was quite nice but overcooked for medium. The other 3 meals I'm told were fine but nothing to rave about.
I can however confirm the view is fantastic and the restaurant itself is decorated really well giving off a cool, relaxed vibe.

Bad food, the menu is boring.
Bad service, the plates and glasses are not polished.
Good atmosphere, the view is nice.
Certainly a good place to be with friends for a drink (cocktails are expensive) and maybe a quick snack such as pizza but don't go there for the food ...
