After moving from their old premises, this cafe now enjoys a bright, modern space with alfresco dining in the courtyard. XWray offers (almost) guilt-free cafe dining with a menu that is half vegetarian and packed full of organic breads, vegies and other healthy goodies. There's tapas available from 6pm seven days a week, for which bookings are definitely recommended.

A Nice weekend breakfast joint
My wife, myself and the baby enjoyed the breakfast there - meals were a good sized portions, and a good spread, I had the the big brekkie, my wife had the eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce. We have tried a number of breakfast places in Perth, but this one was pretty decent.
There is a small area for smokers outside, that they have made for those who like a puff or two whilst enjoying the breakfast, and depending on whether youre a smoker it might be added bonus - for us being non smokers and having a baby, we still managed to still smell cigarettes whilst inside the restaurants - so something to consider for those whoe have children.

X-Wray Delights
4 of us enjoyed terrific eggs benedict and being able to have a glass of "bubbles" with it was an added bonus. Coffee was great, too. This is the sort of restaurant you expect to find in Freo but which seem to be disappearing fast. A very enjoyable experience!

Oasis in Freo
My new favourite coffee house in Freo, with the most relaxed atmosphere I've experienced. Free wireless internet means I can browse and sip delicious coffee for hours. The food is very nice, very tempting!
