Far from being a hippie haven of incense and student digs-style furnishings, Sirens puts an upmarket face on vegetarian cuisine. The decor is a distinct step up from the stereotypical vego eatery, but it is the menu that really shines. The food takes inspiration from global cuisines, particularly Middle Eastern, resulting in intriguing gourmet artworks to satisfy even the most blood-thirsty meat fan. Dishes might include a Mediterranean-inspired green olive souffle, or the intricate nori-wrapped celeriac and silken tofu with shallot and vermouth sauce, served with quinoa and seaweed jelly.
