No convoluted name. No fancy designer furnishings. No priggish baristas. Just topnotch coffee, snacks and lunches skilfully prepared and served with a friendly smile. That's the essence of this tiny deli-cum-cafe in East Victoria Park. Gourmet goodies vie for attention on neatly stocked shelves and though there's only seating for 25 inside and out, it's a popular meeting and eating spot with the local community and office workers. Owner Livio Maggi claims his coffee is the real drawcard, but you may also find yourself lured by the counter display of delectable cheesecakes and friands, or the selection of gourmet sandwiches. Opt for the speciality 868 roll and choose from three meats and three condiments. Or you could make your own - Livio and his team are more than happy to make up any combination, with as many fillings from the deli display as you desire.
