Good Korean
This place serves a good variety of choices. We recommend it if you live around the area, our fave is rabbokki.
Be prepared to come out smelling like bulgogi though.

Love this place!
I consider this restaurant one of my best finds and my husband and I eat here often.
It is a cafe-style restaurant, quite low key, but the food is outstanding.
When you order, you are given a selection of small dishes before you meal is served including kim chi, bean shoots, sweet potato etc. For our mains we normally order the hot platters - chicken, bulgogi or squid. Our bill for the both of us is normally around $30 or so. Well worth it!

One of the best Korean restaurants in Melbourne
Although not everything on the menu is good, there is one dish I will go back for, again and again: the soon-dae-gook-bab. It's not on the menu, but all the Koreans that go to this place go there for this soup/hotpot.

Although not great by Korean standards, it is basically the best there is available in Melbourne. It's hot... both definitions of the word. The soon-dae used in the soup is the cheap dalk-myun type soon-dae, but I prefer that to the more expensive chap-sal-soon-dae for taste and texture anyway... The seasoning has been done almost perfectly, missing maybe a bit of san-cho understandably because it's not available in Australia. It's crazy hot... all 3 definitions of the word. It will burn your mouth with both spices and with sheer temperature, if you don't take care to cool the spoons of soup by blowing on the hot liquid... and the third hot would be because it tastes awesome.

The side dishes are nothing special, but unlike some places, they don't limit you in quantity to sides. Just ask for more when you run out of a particular side.

The service is pretty bad, but from a restaurant where you can get full just on 1 "rice dish" + sides, it's ok. Make sure not to order from the English lunch special/banquet menu, because you will end up with bastardized and tasteless crap.

The decor is pretty cheap, but with such cheap food you can't expect much. It's average for the price you pay for food.

Food would have been 4.5 stars if this place served only 4 - 5 of the many dishes they do serve, since they do most of their *gook-bab/jun-gol* very nicely.

Lunch Banquet
Small and cozy restaurant, we ordered a lunch banquet for 2, this includes beef bugogi, ginseng chicken soup (which I think it's bit ordinary) and free side dishes. Restaurant service is bit slower, but we are still happy with its service. Worth a try, but don't hold your expections too high.
