Grange on Farrelly is a comfortable Margaret River motel, which draws guests with luxe touches such as native gardens and four-poster beds. But the highlight of the complex is 1885 Restaurant, a fine diner snuggled within a historic building (built by timber magnate MC Davies in 1885, funnily enough). Seated in this antique-littered room, diners can tuck into a globally influenced menu of contemporary cuisine, with dishes ranging from a hearty Norwegian venison pie; to the sharp Asian tastes of duck braised in Chinese star anise sauce.
