Really enjoyed our night out
I'm very pleased we went to this restaurant despite reading the other reviews. We found the service really friendly and helpful, and the meals were wonderful. We went for a special anniversary dinner and everyone enjoyed themselves. The kids meals are very generous serves and the size of the rib-eye was something to behold. The view was good too and when it was 38 degrees outside it was lovely and cool inside. The desserts were really something special and I'd recommend this restaurant. It's in the Entertainment Book too!

A bit disappointed
Having enjoyed this restaurant a few times over the last three years I was sadly disappointed. We arrived and received just one menu between us and our wine list was quickly whisked away after ordering pre dinner drinks. The tasting plate was mediocre- but at $19.50, not too bad. My partner's cut of beef was poor- certainly not a $37 steak and we had to ask for a steak knife. My lamb fillet was fine- just nothing to rave about. Our glasses stayed empty for far too long. After requesting the return of our wine list and placing our order we had nearly finished the meal. I would have expected a better selection of reds by the glass. Dessert was a saving grace. The chocolate brulee with balsamic strawberries was truly divine-although it could have easily been half the size! My sorry partner had a very pretty but average tasting berry cheesecake. Overall, decent enough, but really not worth the 'fine-ish dining' bill.

Disgusted
I went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. After arriving we were told that the buffet option was the only thing available on a Sunday for $28 pp. For this money all that was available was sausages, baked beans, toast, jam, mushrooms, tomatoes, cereal and fruit. I had to ask several times for bread as there was none near the toaster. I had to ask for hot water for the tea, I had to ask for more fruit as that had run out also and this is just to name a few of the several amounts of times I had to ask staff for simple requests.
