Clairault Winery & Restaurant Wilyabrup
This area enjoys an average of 300 days of sunshine every year with cooling sea breezes from the Indian Ocean, making it as attractive for a leisurely lunch as it is for vine growing. The restaurant's huge glass doors are flung open in the warmer months, and tables are laid on the sail-shaded deck, so nothing but the towering jarrah and karri trees can interrupt the view across the lush green vineyard. In the cooler months, there's a cosy and intimate feel to this stylishly appointed space, created by Yallingup stone fireplaces, blackbutt floors and comfy leather lounges. Clairault's produce-driven, mod-Oz menu changes with the seasons, but always features clean flavours designed to match the wines from the estate. For those who simply can't decide from the menu, the five-course degustation lunch showcases a good selection of the dishes.
