R. Takagi Sushi Hobart
While there is no shortage of sushi bars in Hobart, R. Takagi is generally regarded as one of the best. The tiny space only seats a dozen people but, for those who can get a table, the space displays a Japanese-style minimalism that is ideally suited to the simple, Japanese food. The runaway favourite among regulars is the nori maki, rolls of which are piled high for takeaway customers. On cooler days, it is worth skipping your usual teriyaki roll in favour of a steaming bowl of noodles in a traditional broth.
