French Restaurants Hobart

Le Provencal
Featured Restaurant
Le Provencal South Hobart This quiet and classy French restaurant in suburban Hobart has made a name for itself by serving consistently great food, with servings coming in generous sizes. Chef Jean-Claude Rival was classically trained in Paris, so all the dishes are made from scratch by the man himself, as the kitchen has no apprentices. There are three dining rooms, each with a different trompe l'oeil dancing across the walls. Some of the stand-out dishes include a hot duck pate with brioche, an eye fillet with bearnaise sauce and a sinful creme caramel. more
