Quattro Cafe Glenelg North Q is for "quality" at Quattro Cafe, from the top-notch modern Australian cuisine on offer to the luscious water views of Patawalonga River and Holdfast Shores marina. Its prime location has always been a top drawcard since Quattro's birth in 1968 on the ground floor of the Comfort Inn Haven Marina. Refurbished in January, 2009 with new tables, chairs and flooring, this airy cafe continues to offer a relaxing indoor area that spills out onto a deck for an alfresco waterside dining experience at breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Chef Amanda Edwards keeps it fresh and innovative, incorporating pastas, burgers, steaks, salads and seafood dishes in her seasonal menu. At the top of the morn, a "big bad baguette" with crispy bacon, egg and tasty cheese and optional barbecue sauce should awaken the senses. Come lunchtime, an array of combinations on focaccia or Turkish bread beckon, with everything from char-grilled chicken to honey ham to the classic BLT. For dinner, one of Edwards' best is the salt and pepper squid with watercress mixed baby leafs, tomato, cucumber served with crispy fries.
